Description

As you drive west on Oregon Hill Parkway (OHP), there's a stop sign at Pine St. There's a gazebo here which reduces visibility to the drivers' right. OHP also has a steep incline. These factors make it difficult to see pedestrians walking south on Pine ST about to cross OHP. Drivers often ignore this stop sign or perform a "rolling stop", putting pedestrians in danger. There is a lot of foot traffic here. A highly visible crosswalk across OHP may improve the situation.

A high visibility crosswalk isn't warranted due to low traffic volumes on Oregon Hill Parkway which provide plenty of gaps for people to freely cross the intersection. No changes are planned at this time.
