Description

This NEEDS to be a 4 way stop. There is such limited visability. It forces people to guess, pull way too far out, or just floor it through the intersection. There are so many very dangerous / scary accidents, and there are always pedistrians there.

DPW must perform engineering studies in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. The intersection of N. 25th St and Clay St does not meet the traffic requirements for an all-way stop. 25th St has No Parking signs on all four corners at Clay St to enhance intersection sight distance. DPW will plan to install intersection ahead signs on 25th St in both directions approaching Clay St to alert motorists to the intersection given the crash history. Crosswalks have also been approved for 25th St and Clay St.
