Description

Could I request a speed assessment please? My street has so many people who speed. We often get cars speeding down the wrong direction (it's a one-way) too. Help us out!

    The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed sample on Gladstone Ave between Richmond Henrico Turnpike and Meadowbridge Rd measured 15mph. The speed sample is in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets. Gladstone Ave traffic now stops at Richmond Henrico Turnpike, Wellington St, Napoleon St and Meadowbridge Rd. Speed tables are not planned.
