The traffic does not stop at the stop sign. A speed control device should be placed there.

- Staff · January 15, 2025City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2001-211-239 to install an all-way stop at the intersection of Glenan Dr and Baronet Dr. This Ordinance reads in part: “Whereas, it is the consensus of Council that it would be in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Richmond and especially the citizens who reside near the aforesaid intersections to erect all-way stop signs at said intersections…” Contact the Richmond Police Department (804.646.5100) to report vehicles running stop signs. The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed on Glenan Dr measured 7mph. The 85th percentile speed on Baronet Dr measured 17mph. Speed control measures are not planned for these 25mph residential streets.
