Description

We would additionally like to request a speed hump at the 33rd and P st intersection as this stretch of P st has 4 blocks of no stop signs. There are multiple families with small children that live here, and cars drive much faster than the speed limit due to the large uninterrupted stretch of road.

The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed sample on P St between Chimborazo Blvd and 29th St measured 22mph. The speed sample is in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and speed tables are not planned.
