Description
Cars travel down this block and the next one towards Brookland Park Blvd at excessive speed. On my block alone, we have 4 families with toddlers. Can we possibly get a speed hump to calm traffic like those found on our surrounding streets like North Ave, Barton Ave and Cliff Ave? They each have one along this two block section but our little one way street got skipped and has become a racetrack! Please help protect our children by assessing and hopefully installing a speed hump on our block.

Comments
- Staff · December 31, 2024Cityworks ID: 545113
- Staff · January 2, 2025The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed sample on Lamb Ave between Gladstone Ave and Brookland Park Blvd measured 19mph in a 25mph speed zone. A speed table is not planned.
