Description
There is a persistent problem with speeding on this road where several children, including my own, live. Drivers routinely reach speeds of 45mph, and often even up to an estimated 55mph in some cases. The speed zone is 25mph on this road, and visibility and maneuverability is very limited, which causes a daily danger for all residents on Bunn Ave, especially those entering the roadway from the south driveways. Requesting assessment for installation of a control device (speed hump, etc). Thanks!

- Staff · December 26, 2024The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed sample on Bunn Ave measured 20 mph. The speed samples are in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and speed tables are not planned. The latest eight full years of crash data from DMV (1.1.16-12.31.23) does not show any reported crashes along Bunn Ave.
