Description
Intersection lacks important info, confuses drivers and they often cross into the wrong lanes. The two SW bound lanes on Westwood should be marked to guide people across the intersection. To people unfamiliar, it’s not clear which of the three Westwood lanes go straight vs are turn only, and the middle SW bound lane of Westwood often drives into the righthand lane of Malvern after crossing Broad. I’ve seen a lot of narrowly avoided accidents here.

- Staff · December 11, 2024(These comments are based on the August 2023 Google Street view.) Southbound Westwood Ave approaching Broad St has three lanes. The inside lane is signed “left lane must turn left” in advance of the intersection, left arrow pavement markings and has an overhead left turn arrow on the traffic signal mast arm. The center lane is a through lane and has an overhead straight arrow. The outside lane (curb lane) has through/right arrow pavement markings and has an overhead through/right turn arrow sign. No signing or marking changes are currently planned.
