Description
Caller states he pulling out of a senior facility and the way the cars are parked along the sidewalk there is is no clear way to pull out into traffic. Caller is requesting to have markings on the ground indicatiing no parking on the first space entering the senior facility to allow citizens enough to safely pull out into traffic. Caller recieved a ticket for failure to yield. A RPO was already at the location for something else, stated the person was speeding but he did not have a radar

A No Parking sign is located on eastbound Brookland Park Blvd in advance of the marked exit from Highland Park Senior Apartments. If pavement markings are planned on the Highland Park Senior Apartments parking lot, then that is the responsibility of the facility and not DPW.
