Description
Cars move quickly through this large intersection and there is no signalized crossing for pedestrians. The complicated nature of this intersection makes it difficult to confidently cross on foot, but also you can not access the southbound bus stop without crossing this street. Another issue is that there is no crosswalk on the North side of the intersection. In many ways this would be a better location for a crosswalk because there are less lanes to cross and less potential conflict points.

- Staff · May 8, 2025The traffic volumes on the north side of this intersection are not sufficient for a crosswalk. A crosswalk on the west side of the intersection is currently being added to the Department's list of future crosswalk installations.
