- Staff · December 5, 2024The focused approach on speed management in the City’s Neighborhood Traffic Management Program first considers the distance of a free flow street of at least 1200’ in length in a tangent section without traffic signals, existing traffic calming measures or stopped conditions on the major street. Shields Ave between Main St and Park Ave stops at Main St, Floyd Ave, Grove Ave, Hanover Ave, Stuart Ave and Park Ave. The distance between each intersection measures around 400’. Speed tables are not planned.
