Request has been escalated and sent the Traffic & Engineering Division Ops Manager. to address the speeding in the area. Individual citizens cannot request the "Slow Down" signs. Someone from the Office of Equitable Transit & Mobility will contact Mr. Gunter to provide information about the signs.

The Department is working to get speed tables installed citywide on neighborhood street segments that are 1,200 feet or longer between intersections or other traffic calming measures. The signal-controlled intersection at Libbie/Cary and stop-controlled intersection at Libbie/Matoaka are only 700 feet apart. Continuing north, the signal-controlled intersection at Libbie/Grove is 750 feet away. Additionally, 95 percent of people are driving below 25 MPH. No further infrastructure changes are planned at this time.
