- Staff · November 15, 2024The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed sample on 31st St between Semmes Ave and Porter St measured 25mph. Between Porter St and Forest Hill Ave the 85th percentile speed sample measured 21mph. The samples are in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and speed tables are not planned.
