Description

Requesting that 29th street from Hull St to Midlothian Turnpike be narrowed with a sidewalk or other pedestrian friendly infrastructure to slow the speed of traffic. Drivers regularly ignore the stop sign at 29th and Lawson and speed down the hill towards Hull. Since no pedestrian infrastructure is present, those walking or cycling must share the roads with these drivers or are forced to cut through private property.

Street narrowing, sidewalk or other infrastructure type projects are capital improvements. The adopted 2025 Capital Improvement Plan does not include any capital improvements for 29th St between Hull and Midlothian.
