Description
Cars speed through this intersection over the speed limit up until the speed humps down the street on 29th. We have children all around this zone and folks who use the toad to connect from Semmes to Riverside who dont live here are speeding through and disregarding the speed limits/pedestrians, bikes, etc. A 4-way stop sign could slow them down at the intersection of 29th and New Kent. Right now theres only signs on New Kent, which has slower traffic than 29th going to Riverside.

- Staff · October 31, 2024DPW must perform engineering studies in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. The intersection of New Kent Ave and 29th St does not meet the MUTCD traffic requirements for an all-way stop.
