Description

People are speeding down 31st St. between Nine Mile Rd and Q St. There are a number of small children who live in the area. We would like a speed hump installed to slow down traffic. (Please be sure to put up signage or cars may go flying over the hump, it's that bad!)

The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed sample on 31st St between Nine Mile Rd and Q St measured 23.3mph. The speed sample is in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and speed tables are not planned.
