Description

Commonwealth ave is a major road for student who bike or walk to school and commonwealth and Grove is where most cross grove to get to school . We see more cars and more speeding since speed humps were installed on Westmoreland street . Can the city consider speed humos on Commonwealth ?

    The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed samples on Commonwealth Ave measured 26mph. The speed samples are in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and speed tables are not planned.
