The traffic on Garfield currently does not have a stop sign, while the traffic on Margate does. However, when driving north on Margate, it is extremely difficult to see in either direction to make the turn. Traffic on Garfield is generally drives above 25mph due to a downhill in each direction approaching Margate. The photos show the view of the driver to the left and right on Garfield while stopped headed northbound on Margate. Drivers on Margate can't see the cars approaching on Garfield.

Comments
- Staff · September 24, 2024Cityworks ID: 539026
- Staff · October 3, 2024The Department of Public Works must perform engineering studies in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. The intersection of Garfield Rd and Margate Dr does not meet the traffic requirements for an all-way stop.
