Description
We need to have speed bumps put on my in the 2800 block of second Ave because the cars and trucks are going so fast we have dirt bikes doing wheels, cars speeding up and down the street,I don't understand it 3rd Ave has speed bumps and also fourth Ave I have seen speed bumps on streets that don't even need them,so please check this issue out because we need some kind of traffic control Thank You Diane Battle

- Staff · October 3, 2024The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed sample on 2nd Ave measured 26mph. The speed sample is in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and speed tables are not planned.
