Description
Request for a retiming of signals along Floyd Ave bike corridor. Currently, most signals crossing Floyd have long cycles with very little traffic. This leads to peds and cyclists waiting at a light for... nobody, which causes them to run the lights. Shortening the cycle times, something closer to the ped crossing time, would help ped and cycle traffic move quicker and might boost compliance, especially on nights and weekends when there is very little traffic.

- Staff · June 10, 2025Dear Citizen, Thank you for sharing your concern with us. We have reviewed the intersection timings, and although the overall Level of Service (LOS) is currently rated A, we will implement a retiming adjustment to better accommodate pedestrian and cyclist traffic. You can expect to see these changes within the next 2 to 3 weeks. No further action is needed at the moment.
