Description
Cars drive quickly and close together up and down Leigh Street, making it difficult and unsafe for pedestrians to cross. This impacts elementary school children walking to school in the mornings and walking home in the afternoons. This request is for speed control all slong Leigh Street. - Staff · November 25, 2024At this point in time, the Fire Marshal's office does not support speed tables on Leigh Street. Speed tables and neighborhood traffic circles have been installed in the neighborhood. Fortunately, 85 percent of people driving on this section of Leigh Street are at or below 28 MPH.
