Description
Although this block has a stop sign at both ends cars continue to drive at high speeds down the block. This is dangerous as the Grayland tot lot is at the next corner where small children ride their bikes to and from the park. Im often on my porch and notice most drivers are choosing to ramp up acceleration when they reack the block. There has also been an increase in drivers going the wrong way down the street.

- Staff · August 19, 2024Given the stopped condition on Garyland Ave at Belmont Ave and upstream at McCloy St, speed tables are not planned. This intersection at Belmont Ave has two One-way signs and one Do Not Enter sign. Also, stop bars marked from curb to curb at the stop signs on Grayland should deter wrong way driving.
