Description

Insanely long closure of ROW. Please pressure this owner in the same way you pressure many other WISP applicants. Permit expired for over 19 months. Please use City Code permissions to pursue unauthorized use of ROW, Derelict Building Program rights to demolish building on owners behalf, etc. Not only is this a hazard to pedestrians, it is a terrible sore spot for our downtown.

The Department of Public Works is coordinating with Planning & Development Review/Building Department regarding the state of this building; we are unable to simply require removal of the site fencing to restore use of the sidewalk until the building facade is addressed; we will continue to follow-up with the Building Department and press the building owner to take corrective action.
