Description

Stop Signs placed at the intersection of 12th & Bainbridge. Stopping traffic up and down Bainbridge st 12th is a one way street when crossing over Bainbridge towards hull. When crossing over Bainbridge drivers coming up 12th Must unsafely pull out into the street. Due to the way the street is designed and current vehicle parking vision is blocked until they are essentially in the middle of the street. Drivers coming up Bainbridge towards 13th are not able to see the drivers pulling out on 12

The last three full years of reported crashes from DMV (1.1.21 – 12.31.23) on Bainbridge St at W. 12th St showed one reported crash. No parking signs exist on both corners of Bainbridge at 12th St to enhance the intersection sight distance. (One corner also has a fire hydrant with No Parking.) No changes in traffic controls are planned.
