Alleys are part of the greater road network, giving access to homes, and providing a place for city vehicles to conduct daily business. Neighbors and other concerned stakeholders should work collectively to grow a safety culture within the neighborhood and community gathering places; increase driver awareness of vulnerable road users -- especially children near playgrounds.
