Description
Hill blocks drivers views from pedestrians walking and cars speed up/down the hill before Forest Hill Ave making it unsafe for pedestrians. Previous requests have seemingly been ignored or not assessed for prolonged periods to get a true impression of the speeding that occurs on this street. Please take longer assessment - a speed hump would significantly improve the safety of this street.

- Staff · July 29, 2024The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed on Stratford Rd between Stratford Ct and Robert Bruce Dr for a 48-hour period averaged around 28mph in the 25mph speed zone. Speed tables are not currently planned.
