Description
A left turning lane needs to be created so that vehicles will not have to use the stratford hills shopping center as a detour. It has become very dangerous.

- Staff · July 24, 2024The Program and Operations Manager of the Department of Public Utilities (DPU) advised that traffic controls were set for No Left Turns within the work zone area. Signs are in the shopping center that state “No Thru Traffic”. This information was provided at the DPU meeting on June 17 and in the DPU Project FAQ notification and posted on the project website: https://www.rva.gov/public-utilities/news/forest-hill-avenue-sanitary-sewer-replacement-project Richmond Police Department officers have also been requested to be on the work site to deter cut throughs.
