Description
Large freight trucks get stuck at the corner of Belleville St right before it turns left and becomes Clay St. That curve is too narrow/sharp and there is a silver fire hydrant on the corner. A semi-truck was stuck there this morning for 2-3 hours before they could get it out with the help of a tow truck and police. This has happened MANY times before. When it does, no one in our office can leave in our vehicles. If there was an emergency, we'd be in big trouble. Ayagel@ctrecap.com 4076165395

- Staff · July 22, 2024Google Street View shows an existing regulatory sign for Belleville St southbound at Leigh St westbound for “No thru traffic to Clay St – Local traffic only”. Leigh St at Belleville St has the same existing regulatory sign. DPW will plan to supplement these signs with truck restriction signs.
