    The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed on Chicago Ave for a 48-hour period was 28 mph. This sample is in compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets. We do not have plans to install speed tables
