Description

Given the increase of new homes at 29th and R St, the need for pedestrian safety has increased and made this request now more urgent that previous requests. This will also compliment the new stop sign, pedestrian signage and crosswalk paint recently completed at at 28th and R St, Previous request included the incidents of speeding from Q St to S St between STOP signs

    The Department of Public Works must perform engineering studies in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. The intersection of R St and 29th St does not meet the traffic requirements for an all-way stop.
