Description
This is a follow-up to my request from 5 years ago (see uploaded attachment). The intersection of Park Ave and Kent Rd. is the only intersection between Monument Ave, and Patterson Ave. not having an All Way Stop sign. This situation has allowed many cars (and especially delivery trucks) to speed between Patterson Ave and West Franklin St.

- Staff · July 5, 2024The Department of Public Works must perform engineering studies in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. The intersection of Kent Rd and Park Ave does not meet the traffic requirements for an all-way stop. (The all-way stops on Kent Rd at Wythe Ave and at Franklin St were installed via City Council Ordinances.)
