Description
A speed hump has been installed on Carolina. However, it is very low and no difference has been seen in the speed of cars traversing it. STOP signs are needed at the intersection of Carolina and Highland for traffic on both streets, A FOUR WAY STOP. There is nothing at all to reduce speeding from Milton to Highland. Yesterday’s accident at the Carolina/Highland intersection would have occurred, unaffected by new speed bump. A four way stop is needed at this accident prone intersection.

Comments
- Staff · June 20, 2024Cityworks ID: 532278
- Staff · June 24, 2024The Department of Public Works must perform engineering studies in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. The intersection of Carolina Ave and Highland St does not meet the traffic requirements for an all-way stop.
