Description
Cars do not yield to those already in this traffic circle. the circle is not wide enough to force a slow down from cars traveling up/down Jefferson. Additionally pedestrians are not stopped for, and telephone pole blocks complete visibility of cross walk. Needs a LARGE sign visible from all directions saying slow down, traffic circle, etc.

- Staff · October 2, 2024New Jefferson Avenue improvement projects are in progress. The scope of work includes traffic calming, pedestrian improvements, green infrastructure, landscaping plus other multimodal improvements. They will be designed and built as funding is provided. In the interim DPW will continue to make sure proper signs and markings are present.
