Description

There needs to be a speed bump on Mcguire Drive in southside. People regulary drive at high speeds in this area because it is a flat straight thru road. Young children live on the surrounding streets and play outside/ catch the school bus here.

    The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed on McGuire Dr for a 48-hour period was 29 mph. This sample is in compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets. We do not have plans to install speed tables.
