Description
Since repaying my road, traffic speed has increased exponentially. My neighborhood is mostly elderly with a few young families with very young children. I’m requesting speed humps be installed. It is not safe, now, for taking a leisurely walk in the neighborhood. I requested speed humps two years ago this month. Traffic, since then, has only gotten worse. Thank you for your help.

- Staff · June 5, 2024The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed on Lansdale Rd for a 48-hour period was 28 mph. This sample is in compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets. We do not have plans to install speed tables on Lansdale Rd at this time.
