Thank you for contacting us regarding the traffic signal at the intersection of Broad Rock Road and Midlothian Turnpike. This intersection was recently upgraded, and the signal timing was optimized as part of that project. In response to your concern, at the time your request was received our team had monitored the intersection on multiple occasions. During the observations, the signal equipment and timing plans were functioning as designed, and operations appeared normal with no unusual delays identified beyond what would be expected during peak travel periods. We understand that wait times can sometimes feel longer than they are, particularly during heavier traffic conditions. We will continue to monitor the intersection and make adjustments if future conditions warrant changes. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
