Description

We are requesting a follow up. We got a speed survey and were promised a speed leveler on our block in 2021. Travis, in the engineering department said it would be put in 2024. It is not on the dockett. Can you inform me of the progress with this? Tara Fitzpatrick of Bike RVA is backing me on this request.

    A March 2025 speed study showed that 95% of people driving on Basset Avenue are traveling at or below 20 MPH. The Department is focusing its limited traffic calming resources on streets in front of schools and those with higher speeds.
