- Staff · May 10, 2024The focused approach on speed management in the City’s Neighborhood Traffic Management Program first considers the distance of a free flow street of at least 1200’ in length in a tangent section without traffic signals, existing traffic calming measures or stopped conditions on the major street. Sommerset Ave stops at Grove Ave, York Rd, Bay St and Ferguson Rd. Speed tables are not planned on Sommerset Ave between Grove Ave and Ferguson Rd because the distance between stop signs is much less than 1200’.
