Description
There are drivers speeding through Hanover as they cut down Pepper to the school located there. A child was almost struck this morning. Thank you for your help

- Staff · May 10, 2024An eight-year search of the DMV crash data base (1.1.2016 – 12.31.23) did not show any reported crashes on Hanover Ave between Pepper St and Three Chopt Rd. Google Street view shows several 25mph signs and other warning signs along Hanover St. DPW will field review and make sure there is good coverage of regulatory and warning signs. DPW will also collect speed samples on Hanover Ave to determine if a traffic calming measure such as a speed table is needed. All speed samples are outsourced so it may be a couple of months before we receive the data.
