Description

People speed into and out of Jefferson park on Princess Anne Avenue through the parking area every day. Kids play nearby in the playground. It's unsafe and I would love to see a speed bump installed.

The focused approach on speed management in the City’s Neighborhood Traffic Management Program first considers the distance of a free flow street of at least 1200’ in length in a tangent section without traffic signals, existing traffic calming measures or stopped conditions on the major street. Speed tables are not planned on Princess Anne given the distance between the dead end and Mosby St measures less than 300’. Princess Anne between Mosby and 21st St is a short curvy section about 400’ and is signed appropriately.
