Description

This intersection is inherently confusing and dangerous as drivers are making left turns from Brookland Parkway westbound to Arthur Ashe south when they are in the lane to continue to Westwood, among other egregious moves. If anything, a big traffic circle would be most appropriate here and would help alleviate the backup that regularly happens on Brookland Parkway westbound.

    Area planning documents have identified a roundabout for the intersection of Arthur Ashe Blvd, Hermitage Rd, Westwood Ave and Brookland Parkway. This improvement project is currently unfunded.
