Description

Cars speed down this road at all hours of the day. The section of Fendall between Brookland Park and Essex is especially narrow, often requiring cars to pull over to the side to allow oncoming traffic to pass. I've witnessed hit and runs usually involving damaged rear view mirrors on parked cars. The road is not wide enough to support two-way traffic, parking on both sides of the road, and high speeds.

Fendall now has bump outs at Essex and at Hooper. A speed table exists between Lancaster and Norwood. No additional traffic calming measures are currently planned.
