Description
Speed test requested months ago—said an external vendor would come and still hasn’t happened. Speed limit is 25, but traffic constantly traveling above in this stretch. Kids and driveways pose serious risk, speed bump needs to be considered to help enforce 25mph

- Staff · April 17, 2024Cherokee Rd between Huguenot Rd and Forest Hill Ave is posted at 25mph and has two speed tables. We are currently not planning to install more speed tables along this section. We will add 15mph advisory speed panels to the curve warning signs on Cherokee Rd approaching Old Westham Rd in each direction. City Council also approved additional $200 fine signs for speeding, and these are posted along Cherokee to help address speeding concerns.
