Description
Enforcement of the "do not enter" signs at the entrance to St. Peter Street from Chamberlayne Avenue. Vehicles exiting the interstate often turn right from Chamberlayne onto St. Peter to access Leigh Street. This is not legal; "do not enter" signs are posted ta the entrance to St. Peter. The situation is dangerous. It creates traffic backups due to the use of a small side street as an access road for highway travelers. Vehicles often fly down the road at an excess of 40 to 50 miles an hour.
