Description
It often takes 3 light cycles for passing through to continue west on Westwood Ave, White plastic poles only allow 2 cars to wait at light with latest configuration. We are very frustrated because of changes. Westbound lane needs to accomodate 6 cars not 2!

- Staff · June 9, 2025Dear Citizen, Thank you for your feedback regarding the westbound traffic on Westwood Avenue at Brookland Park Boulevard and Hermitage Road. This intersection was reviewed at the time the concern was submitted. The current configuration, including the white delineator posts, was designed to improve safety and traffic flow. While we understand the frustration with limited queuing space, the intersection is operating with an acceptable Level of Service under current traffic conditions. No further action is needed at this time, and I am closing this service request. Please feel free to reach out if additional issues arise.
