Description
Hi, is there a "school zone, fines higher" sign or something else that could be used to slow down traffic on the perfectly straight, stoplight and stop sign free, almost mile stretch of Overbrook rd. between Brook Rd. and Hermitage? I clocked someone going 55 the other day. It's 25 and there's also lots of pedestrians, no crosswalks and the Seven Hills school is here. thanks

- Staff · April 1, 2024Overbrook is functionally classified as an Urban Collector and a strategic route for emergency vehicles, so speed tables are not recommended. The section between Brook and I-95 overpass has 25mph signs in each direction and bump outs in the area of Seven Hills School property. Google street view did not show any 25mph signs in the section between I-95 overpass and Hermitage Road but 25mph signs will be installed.
