Description
Speed Humps and larger stop signs are needed throughout this area to ensure roadway safety for our citizens and drivers. Vehicles are constantly running the stop signs to include large commercial vehicles. Cars have been getting hit that are parked along Rose Ave due to speeders. After discussions with my neighbors we all believe that speed humps and larger stop signs will help with overall safety and awareness. Thanks! Thomas Brownlee

- Staff · March 25, 2024The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed on Rose Ave for a 48hour period averaged around 27mph. This sample is in compliance with the posted 25 mph speed. The latest eight years of crash data from DMV shows one reported crash at Rose Ave and Roberts St. Speed tables are not planned. 25mph signs are present in each direction on Rose Ave.
