    Thank you for contacting the City of Richmond’s Department of Public Works. Your request was received by the Division of Sidewalk Maintenance. Upon inspection, the assessed area has been referred to maintenance for a process called concrete shaving; a process which evens out the sidewalk and eliminates tripping hazards.
