Description
Something needs to be done to slow down increasing traffic surrounding the Jefferson Park area, especially now that the weather is changing. There have been several accidents in the past, at the intersection where N 21st ST & Leigh ST & Princess Anne Ave all meet. The traffic zooms through here all the time. We need speed bumps or 4-way stop signs or something to slow down the speeding traffic.

- Staff · March 12, 2024DMV crash data for the latest eight-year period showed two reported crashes in the vicinity of the intersection of N. 21st St, Leigh St and Princess Anne Ave. One was a vehicle crash (angle type), and one involved a bicyclist. Traffic controls for the intersection include a stop sign on Leigh St, a stop sign on N. 21st St southbound and a Yield sign on Princess Anne Ave. N. 21st St northbound is free flow. Neither traffic control sign changes nor traffic calming are planned at this time.
