Description

The left-turn signal on Northbound Brook Road (turning onto westbound Laburnum Ave), has an exceedingly short green-light duration. Often times only 3 (maybe 4) cars can make the turn before the signal changes to yellow and that is if the left/middle lane of through traffic on northbound Brook Road isn't blocking the turn lane. During high traffic periods (mostly in the morning) this can cause a commuter to have to sit though 2-3 signal cycles before being able to continue on their journey.

This intersection is oversaturated due to the large amount of traffic. Timing plan designed consider this condition. We will continue monitoring the operation. No further action is needed.
